Rainwater harvesting

Do you know that it can be very useful to reuse rainwater?

Rainwater is ideal for:

- Water your plants, garden or vegetable garden because it has a low mineralization and a slightly acidic ph, in addition to not containing chlorine.

- To wash your car or other uses depending on where you live because the rainwater is free of chlorine. Rainwater usually flows to the water systems through the wastewater treatment plants before returning to the streams.

Here are 4 steps to collect rainwater yourself.

- Buy a rainwater harvest and reuse system.

- You can purchase conventional barrels and turn them into a rainwater recovery system.

Place the barrels on your ground, ideally raised. Be sure to position its in locations that will produce maximum water flow, such as under the gutters.

- Use regularly recovered water to limit the appearance of algae.
