A father-son duo newly associated with the groupe sutton – center ouest agency

A father-son duo whose bond is felt for miles. A vision of expertise and autonomy for the brokers of their agency. Meeting with Kristopher Derome-Low and Kirby Low, new partners in groupe sutton - centre ouest.

Involved in the real estate agency since childhood

Kirby Low has been a real estate broker certified AEO with groupe sutton - centre ouest agency for nearly 24 years and FRI (Fellow of the Real Estate Institute). He is one of Sutton’s ambassadors and has seen the brand evolve since its inception. Kristopher, aged 9, followed his father around town to put up signs and accompanied him on his visits to the agency. Some of the administrative staff in the office remember him as a little boy. It’s no surprise, then, that Kristopher followed in his father’s footsteps in 2010.

“I was very excited when Kristopher chose the path of becoming a real estate broker. I knew he had what it took to be successful. Kristopher enjoys interacting with people, is a strong negotiator, is a good listener and has strong communication skills, is very patient, understands people’s needs and wants, and knows how to turn negative situations into positive ones. Affirms the father with great pride in his voice.

Since then, they have worked as a team and are always there for each other.

A completing duo

“It's an asset to have two different perspectives to approach different scenarios. Our clients love the idea that we are a family business. We each work with our own sellers and buyers, but are always available to take over for visits, inspections, notarial appointments, etc. This allows us to be in several places at the same time and to offer our customers the service they deserve. We both feel that we can fully trust each other with any case." says Kristopher of their collaboration.

Attracted by Sutton's rapid growth and human approach

Both were drawn to Sutton because of its status as a national company which showed rapid growth. The Sutton Group offered a structure corresponding to their personality and their entrepreneurial values. The support of staff and partners, a team spirit between the brokers in the office and the family side very particular to Sutton, were elements of attraction for them.

Their interest in becoming partners at groupe sutton - center ouest arose from a proposal from one of the founding partners, Marie-Andrée Robinson, who offered them the opportunity to get involved in the company. Always convinced that this real estate agency was an incredible agency given the involvement of the partners, and provided with their very strong entrepreneurial skills, the duo could not say no to the idea of being directly involved in the daily operations of this wonderful agency.

However, there is no question of major changes in the agency, their vision being simply to continue the excellent work that has been accomplished over the years while adding new functionalities that will allow groupe sutton - center ouest to offer a more efficient working environment for staff and more visibility for brokers. Father and son wish to continue transmitting Sutton's values - expertise, passion, collaboration, support and humanity - to all brokers.

Their values and their mission

Their wish is to be present and available for their brokers in terms of support and training, in addition to increasing both local advertising, their presence on social networks and collaboration with local businesses. They are only waiting for the lifting of the bans to plan various social events that will allow them to spend time with their colleagues to maintain the bond that has always attracted them to the groupe sutton - centre ouest.

The importance of a balanced professional and personal life

While real estate is often a topic of discussion, even at family meals, both agree that in order to have a successful professional life, it is necessary to have hobbies and passions outside of the workplace. Kirby and Kristopher share similar hobby activities, such as hunting and fishing, which allow them to get away from work, recharge their batteries, and live balanced lives. Both agree that this balance is necessary and that it allows you to detach yourself from the hassle of everyday life.

"To be an entrepreneur is to have a structure. It is important to know how to manage your time with a list of tasks in mind for our daily activities. Get up early, don't be afraid to go for it to create business opportunities, but also live a balanced life. » adds Kristopher.

It is clear that their values and their vision fit perfectly with Sutton and that they will be golden mentors for the brokers of the groupe sutton - centre ouest!
